A bright ball of light has been spotted falling from the sky in Hokkaido. On the night of the 18th in various locations across Hokkaido NHK cameras captured images of a ball of light in the sky. A camera located in Hakodate City captured the image of the bright light ball at around 18:56 in the evening. On Rishiri island and in Utoro in Syari cameras captured the glowing blue lights in the sky and the sea. An expert from the Nayoro city astronomical observatory looked into this phenomenon and commented “ There is a possibility that the light was caused when some small rocks fell down from space. When the rocks fell towards the earth it looks like they disintegrated so the chance of finding any remains is slim”
空から落ちる火の玉のような光が見える
１８日の夜、北海道のいろいろな場所にあるＮＨＫのカメラに、火の玉のような光が空から落ちてくるところが写っていました。函館市にあるカメ には、午後８時５６分ごろ、とても明るい光が空から落ちてくるところが写っていました。利尻島や斜里町ウトロなどいろいろな場所にあるカメラにも空や海が青く光るところなどが写っていました。なよろ市立天文台の専門家はカメラの映像を調べて、「宇宙から小さい石などが落ちてきたときに燃えて光る『火球』の可能性があります。落ちてくる途中で全部燃えたようなので、陸や海に石などが落ちた可能性は低いと思います」と言っています。
